Joel was pleasant and thoughtful and excellent to work with.  He listened carefully, and comprehendingly, to what we were looking for, understood and respected the budget, and turned general ideas and objectives into specific objects and designs.   We found him careful and efficient and interesting to observe plying his trade and welcoming of our interest and questions.  Although we developed the designs of our two paths and small wall together with him, Joel's art and skill produced stonework that is beautiful and interesting beyond our imagining, a continual delight to live with and use.
